    Default Winwick Quay Meet

Firstly, thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome. It was a great turnout, not quite the 20 cars Ian had hoped for, but made an impressive lineup on the car park - way, way better than the 5 car Rover club that squeezed into the bottom corner and looked sheepish! Even the famous North West rain almost held off, it certainly didn't dampen anyone's spirits!

Some lovely cars were on display, and a good variation, from standard right through to the IS3 with its butt-caressingly beautiful retrim and of course, the I500

It was good to meet people, and see some faces - even if I still can't match some of those faces to any names on here. Big thanks to Spoons, who graciously allowed me to chase him up the M6 and even let me nearly keep up! We arrived about 15 minutes late, thanks to neither of us knowing where this pub was, and the multimap hit directed us into the middle of an industrial area...close, but no cigar!...Found it in the end, though!

I did get some pictures, but sadly I'm now at work, and these computers don't even have paint, so I can't remove any numberplates I'll get them up asap. I know Spoons and Ian_C both had their cameras out, clicking away, so hopefully someone will get pics up before I do!

Top marks. See you all again soon.

A really impressive turnout and some new faces for me too.
Rover club seemed to take a shine to spoons' as they went inside, "woahh, look at that, a VXR"
Lets see if Ian can manage to get some pics up tonight after the pub!

Hmmm, it will depend on how much 'pub' he has had!!!!

Glad you guys had a good afternoon - Drinky certainly had a good time - apologies for my uselessness, but as Chris may have told you I have been holding the fort at Castle Drinky, packing away all our worldy goods in preparation for our big house move!!!!

The meeting today was great and also my first one. It was nice to meet the 15 or so people off the site and see a good sellection of very smart car's "apart from the rover's in the corner". We also had a very smart astra with gorgeous wheels stuck in the middle. I'm not sure of your name mate sorry And a saab. Sorry to hear the wife coundnt get on with the signum and it had to go
I placed my order for a few bits from Andyvec to improve my signum a bit further.
I forgot my camera so i didnt get any snap's
A couple of guy's tuck some so waiting to see the results.
Thanks again for my first meet and it was nice to meet everybody.
