Z20NET exhaust on 1.8 VVT

Hi All,

Would a Z20NET dual exhaust fit my 1.8VVT with a reducer? IIRC the 1.8 is 45mm, would I need a 45 to 55?

Yep, reducer required. What you've suggested sounds about right, you can get them off Ebay pretty cheaply.

I've measured the centre pipe of the new exhaust and it seems to be 60mm OD and 57mm ID but I'm finding conflicting information on the forums. Not sure what size it actually is, or if it needs to be 100% accurate?

You will need the OD of your Front pipe and the ID off the middle part of the exhaust from the 2.0T. Then look on ebay, many do exactly what you require for about a tenner. Looking on Klauris the OD of you Front pipe is 45mm and the ID of the 2.0T system is 55.5mm. So you might be better trimming off the front pipe to make the length of he overall system correct.

that doesn't seem to be the correct measurement does it?

Also, sorry for my ignorance; what do you mean when you say correct length? Aren't I just replacing like for like in terms of length.

Yep so your looking for a reducer that has got an ID of 46mm and an OD of 56mm. If you can get the reducers to slip over the front pipe far enough you may not need to cut the exhaust.

Cheers, Das! The centre pipe in the photo is 55mm? It looks a little larger, but then I don't think it's the best tape measure in the world, came with a Christmas cracker but it's all I could find at the time haha.

If you look at your photo you need to measure across the inside the pipe, not the outside. The reducer goes over the Front pipe, and inside the middle section, this is to make sealing the exhaust easier.
