I've heard that too, everyone I know that has had a car stolen has either had there house broken into at night and keys taken, or been stopped at gunpoint whilst driving, suppose it's just too difficult these days to steal a car without keys.

The original post is inaccurate and I have replied to the same post in another thread from the OP. It's not that the car was parked on the road per se but that it is parked on the road at that particular postcode. One which the insurers have classed as higher risk and so they'd like the car to be parked off the road there overnight.

Big incentive to try Comparethemarket or GoCompare (try both, as they do deal with different companies and you will get a lot more options) - at least if any of the Insurers don't like your postcode they won't waste your time giving you a quote. Just be careful to check the small print, excesses, etc.

So what you just said OP was accurate in original post. As he said declined for parking on the road, which you just confirmed
Don't get how OP was inaccurate???
