A Spoiler Question

My brother owns my old Silver lightning Vectra SRi CDTi 150 and it has the Irmscher DTM rear spoiler.

Now as someone has put a light scrape on the door about 2 inches long, it has to go in for repairs at my local dealer.

He has asked me to get a price on un bolting the spoiler, welding up the holes and having the tailgate painted as he does not like the spoiler.

If this was done, would anyone be interested in the spoiler?

Heres a pic.

He would be looking for about the £150 mark give or take a few quid but he wants to ensure the would be sold before he commits.

Or another option, if some one has a silver lightning 1.9 CDTi150 and wants the spoiler, maybe a deal could be done to swap tailgates????

i wouldnt recommend swapping tailgate, all the electrics would need removing from the tailgate and there could be a slight difference in colour match

would the other type irmy spoiler not fit to cover up the holes just an idea

Matt, you've basically posted a For Sale post on behalf of somebody else. We have to apply the same rules to everyone.

If your brother wants to join up and post once he has the privileges, then obviously that's fine, but a for sale post has to be by the person who owns the item. Therefore the thread will have to be deleted - closed until you've read it.
