poxy halfords

been to halfords again today for the megs 3 stage gear and the quick clay kit, after ordering it all a week ago i was looking forward to getting stuck it this afternoon.
low and behold its not come in, they dont know who ordered it and to top it all off the lad i was talking to didn't have a clue what i was talking about

re-ordered it all after slowley explaining that it was 3 stages and cost £7.99 per stage, also had to explain what the clay was for and the fact it came in a kit with detailing spray and instructions for about £20.00.

well they have said that they will call me when it all comes in next friday, if they can get it all that is....

rant over now and just in-case they let me down again, can any-one tell me where else to get it all from please

if you get that stuck mate let me know i have 3 new bottles of the 3 stage gear just a little dusty as its been in the garage for around a month or 2

you can have it for the RRP + a £ for postage

One local Halfords store I visited on 3 occassions in one weekend for various bits. Of these bits included Megs 1, 2 & 3 aswell as a clay kit. All they had on the shelf of what I wanted was one bottle of stage 2 & eight bottles of stage 3.
Popped into a store in a different town just on the off chance as we was at the retail park the store was at and they had one bottle of stage 1, three of stage 2 & 6 of stage 3 so I was off on my toes with that but again had no clay kits. Great, still can't touch the car.
On the way home we popped to a small shopping precinct to go to a chemists and they had a Motorists Centre (TMC) there so I dived in there & they had clay kits for like £12.99 or something (about ebay prices minus p&p) when Halfrauds charge like £21.99 or something stupid so all in all a result and I got to clean the car over the bank holiday weekend.

Why don't you just go straight to meguairs them selves mate an get a catalogue? the prices are the same as halfrauds an they will deliver withing a few days, trust me.

www.meguiars.co.uk you get a nice little pack with a full brochure of ALL therir equipment to buy.

ps also lists all the stores in your area on the back, that do the proper stock as well.with at least 3 major stockists in each county from what i can see. There isd a major stockist in Allwoods automotive in Nottingham, if thats any help in the future?
