I've got a 1.8 SXi. I've never really worked it out, but I must be getting that kind of milage. 30mpg ish..
I'm looking at either a diesel, or duel fuel next.

Yeah, consumption for me must be about the same, not really that good. 1.9cdti is on the cards before the end of the summer

I've got the 1.8 SXI, I'm getting around about 30 ish to the gallon.
Drive like an old git & improves slightly.
But some strange reason, since I've fitted the SRI wheels, I've been speeding up

vec-b estate does about 30mpg and thats mostly always loaded up with one thing or another.

vec-c 19cdti does about 44 mpg average with tuning box fitted,

i know which one i prefer but cant bring myself to buy a vec-c estate for work as it would get trashed

someone in the same boat as me, erm, not that an estate is the size of a boat lol, if money stretches to it i'm gonna get a veccy 'c' estate to replace my trashed vec 'b' estate.
