Is it possible to turn of the traction control on the veccy C 1.9 cdti elite.

there is not a switch as standard...

You can get the switch itself at the dealer m8, but as far as I know, might or might not work. In my case didn´t, but there are some lucky members that got TC by just adding the switch. It´s no expensive to try. Good Luck!

Look behind the blanking cover first of all. If there is a blue plug then you've got a chance - no blue plug means no chance. Then get yourself a TC switch (part number in the part numbers section) and give it a try. Even with the blue plug being present it's 50/50 whether it will actually turn off the TC. There's no pattern of model, engine or year as two people with the 'same' car have ended up with one working and the other not.

Local VX dealer managed to permanently disable mine without asking then refused to admit it had TC when I complained... I sure your nearest dealer could mess yours up to :-)

Could you not just remove the fuse or is the fuse needed for other things?

On certain engines, 2.0T for example, pulling the fuse will kill the engine, or won't let you start it even if you pull it with the engine off.
