    Default Double din face plate

    Hi,

Does anyone know if you can get a face place for the stereo which will take a double din radio, the hole in the Veccy C is a wired shape hence needing the din plate. I wanna put a 7" touch screen TFT in there.

    Cheers,

    L.

I thought the hole in the dash was'nt big enough to take two DIN's in it. It is smaller at the bottom than at the top so if they go in, it will be a tight squeeze. Blaupunkt makes a face plate to take a sinlge din togheter with their smallest cd-changer. Maybe it can be modified to take two DIN units?
You could also buy a blanking plate without any holes in it from your dealer and cut a hole to your size.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a "blanking" plate for the space then? i.e. the plastic which is the same colour as the surrounding area in order to rip the head unit out and fill the hole with the blanking plate?

I want to fit a 7" TFT into my dash hence the blanking plate which I could cut a hole in to shape. However if this is not possible then I may have to get a single din adapter and butcher that.
