Looking good mate.....but that's just standard facelift sri wheels
ok all the ones i see them on are the xp's around here... doesn't matter really they are just there for passing the up coming mot in November... other than that I hope to have sorted out those pcd adapters before that time so the car will be on the porsche wheels... they will make it look so much better.
i'm still hunting other parts down both for the interior and for the exterior but looks wise i'm almost done... it's road worthy and ready for daily use right now but i'm taking my time... I still got my daily golf mk4 gt tdi in use

Right so i finally pulled the 0-gauge power wire through and all the audio cables... all is hidden away so you can't see them... the amp is however mounted on the back of the subwoofer and it will stay like that for a while... in the meantime i still need to connect the power cable to the battery and i will have to connect the 0 -gauge ground cable to the body... I have found a suitable place for it i just didn't have the time to finish that off at the moment....
I will be running 2 12 inch subwoofers one is ported and tuned to 33Hz the other is enclosed and capable of playing between 80Hz down to 30Hz... the amp is capable of 1000 watts at 1 ohm per channel and the speakers can handle up to 1400 watts at 1 ohm... so basically it's a mix of SQL and SPL the reason i choose this type of setup is because this way the system will play any type of music without alterations... although i mainly listen to R&B, HipHop and Grime so that should be the best setup for me at the moment...
Didn't take any pictures just yet as in my eyes this is a temporary setup.... they need to be played first and i might set them up as a push pull configuration or bin the separate enclosures and build one dual twin TL subwoofer box
Every car i own gets winddeflectors and i prefer them from Team Heko, the reason is fresh air at all times and because my wife is asthmatic. i received them this morning and i installed them immediately so without further delay here are the pics....
I also like the extra width it gives the car so all in all i am quite pleased with the overall look of the car at the moment
Well i finally did something about the rusty calipers... yup you got it right I painted them... and because a picture speaks a thousand words.....
I can't believe I didn't do that way earlier.... It's not that I had to go out and buy stuff.
Looking spot on mate
right so just finished messing about with led and cob sidelights.... they both flicker so left the leds in for now... at least it matches the 6k hids....
i also finished the setup of the subwoofers.... basically they play spot on... so i can recommend mixing SQ and SPL

So as you might have known the cars rear brake lines decided to burst last Monday.... it couldn't happen at a more inconvenient time as i was about to take it for it's MOT.... it burst right before i even left the private car-park so i reversed it back and called a place that recovers cars, does brake line work and MOT's.... they decided that they didn't have time until today (Thursday).... now here is the funny bit....
they sent this young lad to pick the car up with out a recovery truck.... i laughed and told him, i told them the brake lines in the back have burst so the car needs to be recovered on the back of a truck.... the lad just went oke let me see what i can do 30 minutes later he returned and picked the car up... so i told him... tell the mechanic, brake lines need to be done first, than the MOT.... because i don't see him taking it for a spin without brakes..... he smiled and said yeah i told them they didn't listen to you in the first place as you clearly stated it had burst brake lines so it needed recovery not just a pick up. I than said to the lad let them know there is no hurry and it can be finished somewhere next week.
now let's hope the bill won't be to high as i am recovering from surgery otherwise i would have fixed them myself...
