    Default 1.8 clutch judder

Whilst my car was having its 2nd service today I asked them to look at the clutch judder problem that has returned (after having a replacement under warranty) I was duly informed that there was no fix for it!!!!!!! unhappy with that reply I contacted vauxhall customer services who informed me there is !, The part/parts should be available at your dealer sometime in May.

No, sorry they didn't. I was just given a story that their engineers had been working on the problem for some time now and had finally come up with a solution.

Yep, I'll be there in the queue! Mine can be a little sod first thing in the morning.

Did they say if this would be covered under warranty?

Yep,know that feeling.I cant believe they have just found a cure for this. They should help towards the cost of getting these fixed.Mine went in two years ago and they told me there was nothing they could do.Its out of warranty now so looks like i will have to fork out

But surely if they have only just come up with a solution, surely this should be under a recall of some kind? It is not our fault that they sent out cars with a design fault, and taken longer than the warranty term to come up with a solution to the design fault?

    Or am I being naive?
