Hi everyone I am new to vectras I've got a 1.8vvt Sri I was just wondering what are some good mods for it and what is the best service shuff for it like oil spark plugs and things like that plus is there any problems I should no about them

Hi and welcome, my mate has a 1.8vvt and he has just put his induction kit back on and he says the throttle responce is a lot better.

I've always thought induction kits was bad for cars because they suck the hot air in from the engine

There is a whole load of stuff you can do to your new motor, but probably one of the first you might want to consider is fitting Xenon HID's to light up the road at night

Welcome mate, I have a remapped 1.8vvt and I found the Piper cross induction kit to be great with the cold feed pipe for a nice induction roar but the k&n panel filter with the airbox mod has a better throttle response and feels smoother up the rev range. With the vvt make sure oil is changed regularly unless you like spending £500 a time getting the cam phasers changed when they start knocking. Its an underrated engine imo with plenty of poke if your not shy with the right foot
