Ok thanks. A couple of streets away massive sections of road are being dug up for gasworks so at first I thought it was that. I was looking out of my kitchen window with my hand on the handle still when the second boom went off, the force of the blast literally closed the window shut while I has still holding it.

My facebook was full of story's saying a bomb had gone off in Leeds and they could see the smoke lol. As soon as the second doom went off I heard the Jet so had an inkling of what it may have been. There was one Pollock on a RAF Facebook page I follow that was complaining that there was no warning given
