double din dash

i bought my vectra a few months back, before this i had an astra-coupe. i had in the astra a setup with ps2 and tft motorised screen for those long journeys. in the astra there is 2 din sockets obviously 1 for radio howeer second one further down the dash held a tray or cd holder but could be removed for a screen. anyway when i sold my astra i kept the screen im thinking of selling it as i cant seem to think of a way to fit it into the vectra(its just a screen not radio/dvd player etc) has anybody attempted to make a second din out of the facia plates you fit when installing aftermarket headunits? just wondered if it was possible underneath the radio to get one in and sort of make it double dinn'd so to speak??

I've seen one on mp3car dot com where he adapted a single din facia to fit a touch screen. I'll see if i can find it for you.

I'm sure I saw one on here recently but I'm fairly sure it was a conversion rather than ready made

Yeah, somebody had done a bit of 'twiddling' to let them fit two units.
