Anyone want to teach me in the ways of detailing?
I'm not far from Rotherham and was wondering if there was anyone who fancied helping me to get my Vec in shape. I've picked up what is my third Vec c today. A standard black 2006 1.8 Vvti Sri. I'd like to get it clean, and then wax it polish, it seal it or whatever is the best thing to do to try and keep it looking good! If there is anyone who is local to me could give me a shout and maybe we could come to an arrangement about showing me what on earth I'm doing and I'll pay for products and provide endless amounts of coffee, bacon sandwiches and generally average banter?

Cheers Clive, I'll take a look. Some of the motors on here are simply stunning and whilst my Vec looks ok I'd like to get it looking it s best!

Another problem with going on to Detailing World is when you discover threads that show you lovely ways of organising your detailing products which makes you rush out a build you own version as I have done here...

Mid you, it is nice just wheeling the whole lot out to the cars and having everything there without have to go back and forth...

I remember the days my work toolbox used to look like that! Just with spanners instead of cloths!

I can't take the credit for the idea as a guy on DW a few years back showed how he had made one of these using a Fat Max wheeled box. This is just my version as his had the various bottles of stuff in the top box. As you can see in mine I made a double decker arrangement in the main bottom bit with a hand made tray so It will take double the amount of wet products.
