Thanks Woody, I mentioned this to Pete a short while ago as I had the same. I'm reliably informed it's because the thanks/likes plugin is currently re-building it's index and should be fine again once this has happened.

It's definitely still there https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garage.php I suspect it's just the shortcut missing, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the newer versions we're upgrading to or not.

Just tried clicking on a new members introduction thread, and got a databse error screen. Was this one:

Hi Andy, I've been working on it, still a few issues to sort out as it's no longer supported and wasn't designed to be used with the the version of vB we're on now or what we're going to be updating to again shortly..

Same issue that Woody reported, hopefully it should sort itself out once the thanks/likes index has rebuilt.

I'm afraid we are going to have to go through some pain with this whole process and because of the way we're having to do it we'll have to go through the process three times which means various pain three times. However it's going to be worth it.

As for different looks, the new version does look substantially different to how this is now and whilst we'll do our best to avoid change for changes sake (it's the main reason we've not updated until now) I'm afraid the forum does have to move with the times for all sorts of reasons and change has to happen. How much is yet to be seen.

I think the old saying applies @Ian-Highlander, "short term pain, for the long term gain.......".

You've given the members advance warnng of the downtime/outages, and folk will appreciate that it's for the long term benefit and improvement of the forum and club. Personally I'm just grateful that we have a good bunch of folk behind the scenes that are willing and able to contribute their time and efforts into keeping everything running smoothly. Good effort I say, keep it up.
