    Default rear 1/4 lights

    Hi,

Sorry, not sure if i'm postin in the right place but........

Does anyone know if it is a hard job to get the rear 1/4 lights out of a 5 dr hatch sri pre facelift?

Reason I ask is that i've just had em tinted but one edge has lifted a bit so i thought it may be easier to redo if i could pop the glass!

    Any advice gratefully received

    Nick

do a search for 'spikeys car, repair of the beast'.. it's a huge job to do with lots of stripping of the boot area..

the glass is a single unit bonded to the frame, so you have to get right back to the body frame..then it's held on with plastic nuts..

    thanks gsi.

I might just leave that one then.

Probably just being a bit finicky with the tints anyhoo, its only a film afterall! (an 3/4 inch by 1/8 shine spot)

either than t or take it back to them - which i'd prefer not too as i think i don't really want them scraping in my quarter window area!

id leave them on!!! as they are bonded and held on with plastic lugs, these usually get cut off on Removal as they are a pain.

Just put some luke warm water under it mate then roll the lifting edge back down, if it requires going right into a corner thats tight, use something small thats not sharp, like a wooden ice lolly stick. hth.
