I must be old. I start (named insured) driving at 22 and it was only £260 for the year!

TBF that sounds like an extortionate amount to pay for insurance. Also hell no to a black box, especially not if you drive anything like me

Still haven't received a quote from Chris Knot. It does state on the site that it's instant??

Anyways, there's no curfews with having a blackbox fitted, I'm not going to be driving it like a lunatic lol, don't think my kids would appreciate that.

One good thing about it is if your a good driver they will add 100 miles to your policy each month.

So I have the black box fitted. They fitted it directly onto the cars battery and connected it via the positive and negative terminal.

Anyone tried covering their blackboxes with foil?

I've used "Confused.com" to find the cheapest quote for my "Vectra C CDTi 1.9 05 plate" that I bought last week. The cheapest I can get it too is £140 a month but the voluntary excess is £250.

It will come with a blackbox, I don't mind having one of these fitted, the only thing that bothers me is that aren't they fitted to your cars OBD port? if it is, how on earth am I going to use my OBD Bluetooth adaptor?
I am with Direct Line and have blackbox. Just pay little off £100 P/M. Then again I have almost 2 years NCD and 2 "professional" classed jobs haha.
