Is that the one with the 2 buttons only? I have a 2005 so dont know if the cd30 used quadlock or iso conectors? Didnt know they sold he 3000 any more, is it not the evolution one with the dial in the middle?

Well mate i hope you havent bought one. I had one fitted and i have had nowt but trouble with it. No picking up signal from phone's i have tried 4 different one's. Then all of a sudden it will work but keeps on picking up the signal and beeping External in, External in, External in. This gets my blood boiling. I am at the stage of ripping it out and tossing it out the window at high speed. 100 Quid wasted is what i say.

Dont want to hijack your thread but has anyone else any views on that parrot unit? I went to Halfords today to buy one and was told that they wont fit them to post 2005 Vectras because of the problems they have been having?

Where did you put your box mate, mine will pick up my phone when ive left it in the house and I turn the ignition on. Could be a bit of a bad power connection.
Yep even with the old 3000 you can install new software. The Parrots are a great bit of kit. Halfords don't have a clue, there dead easy to DIY fit.

I havent got the box. I did get it from Halfrauds but they tried to fit it and gave up halfway. They got a real company to install it correct. Dont get me wrong when it is haveing a good day it work's great but a good day is not very often at all. Parrot say my LG chocolate should work no problem but is dosent. The nokia i use will work more often as this has the voice dialing on the phone. But it is still hit and miss. I now have turned off blutooth to stop the annoying beeping and i just dont answer the phone.
