Dump valve

Has anyone fitted a dump valve on a signum

nope but I had one on my 2t ...it was fitted when I bought car ..now in my garage.

Nightmares mate I'd leave alone I tried it an it jus lags an blew the turbo bypass solenoid which caused limp home mode all in the space of two days there are people who have done it but most will have had big issues . The complex re-circ system is far better as it is But that's my opinion

Better put exhaust dump valve. You go silent or you go roar by a flick of a switch.

To be fair I never noticed any differences in the performance of my car with the dump valve fitted. I did like the sound but eventually felt like an old man chav!

new modern gm engines dont like dump valves....most i no that have tried them ie the bailey type, its eml time...
going by what i have read over the years, if its a proper dump valve, collins is the one the vx engine seems to run ok on...
but best of all, is the forge recirc valve...

On my 2.0 t I've got a cone filter and you can hear the turbo and Wastegate chatter etc plus a dump valve noise.
