    Default tinted rear screen

    Hi all,

took my first steps to modding today and had the windows tinted. stayed legal up front but gone limo at the back.

only question is will the white lines where the dots are around my rear screen settle down when the tints dry?? I'm chuffed with the job but that would finish it off a treat

    Cheers
    Nick

In my experience you will always see some silvering around the outside. this is due to the fact that the film can't bond with the matrix of dots that make up the very edge of the window!!

Sometimes it settles, others not - something you live with!!

Had mine done mate a while back, looks weird to start with as the tints kinda stick here and there. but as it dry's the tints won't stick to the ceramic dots. but it all looks uniform so its fine. Makes a huge difference to the temp in the back for the kids.... that was my main excuse for having them done, well worth the £120 though!!
