Again, only half the trip, but mine did a creditable (I feel!) 46.5. Including the, ahem, madness on the way back this morning. Oh, and that's with the aircon at full tilt and hardly dropping below 90 on the way over.

Altogether, we did 544 miles, averaged 50 mph, M26, M25 and M4 to thank for that, as it was nearer 68 yesterday on the way to Brussels.

All this with a turbo that is in, what shall we say, 'questionable' health?!

    Madness??

This morning's drive was the most restrained of the whole trip. You should have been with us on the way down.

I was referring to the 'aerodynamic' aid I sprouted between Adinkerke and Calais!!

And the charging up and down the line of cars to get photos!!

As for the rest, I reckon I'd have either conked out or lost sight of you lot by Bonn!

I don't think mine was two bad, not for a fully loaded bus with an auto box and 19's, considering I also hit a top speed of 130mph as well !!!
This was door to door for the whole weekend.

Didnt think to take photos of mine, albeit to say when i got off the ferry i was just about the red, as soon as we blasted off it went down to the flashing orange light. By the time we got to the services my needle was on the end stop of empty and the range had been 0 mile for 15miles lol..

On a 60 litle tank i refuelled with 59.21 litres. Had less than 1 litre in the tank!! Scary or what?

I got an average of 54 mph and managed 42.1mpg.
I don't think that's too bad considering the overtaking manouvers that were going on on the way down! If you were in our convoy, you'll know what I mean (Dean and Phil!)
