Irmscher 2007 - Gsi's Pic's

Well after travelling down to Duncan's on Thursday, we traveled to meet the rest at the hotel in Dover at a very early 5am on Friday, the weather was cold and foggy

and then off to the docks and we upset all the other drivers, by lifting our bonnets to change the lights over to the European seating

The drive down to Stuttgart was fun, once we worked out the speed limits on the Autobahn, but was a very long day

And as you can see the weather improved and yes this is my screen showing 442 miles on the range, (we had just filled up, but over the whole trip we managed 29 miles to the gallon and we were not hanging around, mostly over 95ish)

Saturday Morning
Nice and early of to Irmscher and wash 500 miles of road grime and the biggest bugs off the cars

There will be lots of pictures of the factory, from other people, but here are a few of Mark's and my favorite cars




Sunday
We got to meet Gunther and he is a lovely chap and signed lots of hats and Rene's (Mrs Paracher) t-shirt (well that is what I think he is signing)

Well after a day and half of being at the Factory, including a fantastic tour of the factory, we had to go home

We had a fabulous weekend and can not thank Cabby enough for orgainising and also to Duncan

to give you some idea.. this was taken at over 95mph... it was a fast moving chain of cars all the way up the autobahns....

Can i go back tommorrow please???..
