What a fantastic weekend, all credit to Mark the Cabby for organising a good trip which ended with a few of us driving the the 'Ring'
There are loads of better photo's to come from others but here are a few from me!!
First at Dover on a chilly Friday morning!!
And on the Ferry.....
It was very tough trying to travel all in convoy so it was inevitable that we would lose each other. So heres a few from the Saturday morning.....
Total Vauxhall's Dougie
The bar where many a beer was consumed, is'nt that right Plasma and IanC!!!
Getting display cars cleaned up.
The Irmscher Antara which I fell in love with.
The show area, as you can see, Vectra C.com had a very good display of top quality cars.
The i500 estate, 3.2 V6 Kompressor
The main man, Gunther Irmscher sitting in AndyVecs newly trimmed Signum, the interior was simply stunning, but I won't post any pictures as I am sure Andy will want to do this himself.
Another of Gunther Irmscher and me after signing my irmscher baseball cap.
Ian C was the first to meet Gunther and the way they met was hilarious, I'll let Ian fill you in on this!!
On the way to the Nurbergring, AndyVec and my friend Simon Kydd.
Mine and Andy's Siggies
Ian C's i500 and Spoons SRi on the Autobahn, I think this photo was taken at plus 130mph!!!
My Signum after 2 laps of the Ring, you can't appreciate the ring and how it is laid out until you see it for real!!! And it's souvenier on the tailgate!!!
Unfortunatly we lost the others as getting out of Brussells was not easy!!, so Ian C and I arrived at Calais way ahead of the others, and were only too pleased to accept the offer of a Ferry an hour and a half before our official one!!
So this is Handsome Ian after getting on the Ferry, a top bloke and it was a pleasure spending the time with him and the others in Germany.
The best car out of all of the Vectra C group in my opinion.......... It has to be AndyVecs Signum with it's stunning re-trim. I have already been bugging Dougie from TV that it is a crime if Andy's car is not now featured!!!
Hundreds more photo's were taken and I am sure they will appear here soon!!
