Does anyone have opcom who lives near Willington in county durham? Urgently need my REC reprogramming...

The discussion of OP-com is forbidden on the forum mate. Someone with official software may be able to help though.

No its not. Discussion on how to use it is banned, but you are allowed to ask exactly what the OP has asked without fear of rebuke.

Correct... Technical supports such as asking how to use Opcom and or links to it are banned, but just asking if anyone has it is fine.. Asking if it can do certain things like can it program this/that or the other is a no no..

but still would prefer someone to use official equipment for programming the likes of an REC

Some chinese versions of opcom have been known to brick certain modules. But personally I've not experienced that. The official opcom or vauxcom will do the job safely, as will Tech2.

i don't have opcom but I do have a tech2 with global tis.
If you still need this looking at I'm only in Gateshead so I'm not that far from you.
