At last - success.
I have managed to change the front indicator bulbs on my facelift SRi.......
It was a piece of p**s once I extracted the trick out of a Vx mechanic!! done and dusted in 10 mins flat - oh and have sore cut hands for the pleasure

sore cut hands sounds about right mate they never make anything easy to get at. lol
what's the secret?? I had to pull the bumper out and practically take the light out. Nearly an hour and lots of plasters. FOR ONE SIDE.
Top of the airbox out to get to drivers side, battery cover up and washer bottle neck extension out on the passengers.
It is not evident where the bulbs are on the facelift as they seem to dissapear into the wing, but basically you are feeling for what looks like a lolly pop stick either side. This is the back of the bulb holder.
It is all a bit tight, I have large hands and therefore felt it.
Twist the bulb holder with your finger tips (very tight). the passenger one comes out very easily but the driver one was a pain in the a**e!! Wiggling the bulb out of position is the only way of getting it round a very sharp corner - for godsake don't drop them at this stage!!
Fit you new bulbs in the holders, reverse and hey presto - bulbs done and they look so much better than the orange ones!!
Don't know about the pre-facelift bulbs, never seen inside!!
Ok cheers mate
This ought to go in the "How To" section.....
Feel free to move it!
