Default Worst Consumption 1.9 CDTi 150

Well, measured consumption over 500 miles for my regular car at work.......

    26.1 mpg!!!!!!

    Who can beat that?

No wonder our fleet has a 5-year rolling replacement plan, it's an 05 plate and has already done over 65k, mostly in journeys of well under 5 miles, at this rate it will have best part of 150k on the clock when it goes!

Driven the way you'd just NEVER dream of driving your own car! Most of my runs are between 3,000 and 5,000 rpm, and I'll quite happily belt down a dual carriageway at 120mph in 4th with the engine screaming......or at 50mph down a residential street in 2nd.....

It's all about deceleration as well as acceleration..... I need to know that the second I lift my foot, it's gonna start to slow down.

They want fast response, that's fine by me, but thank gawd they foot the garage bill!

I assume you cant drive any worse than that, so that makes it excellent MPG.

120mph in 4th?!? Not unless you have a remap to raise the rpm limit or a custom gearbox setup.

That's very strange becuase it shouldn't do that much. Has someone been changing tyre sizes without matching or having corrections programed in?

So I'm guessing that Para is a fast response type person then!!!! With an uprated engine and springs etc, as standard.
