Its not at experimental stage like the LPG.
But I guess like all the other new things, you have to get it in the states.

NOS is widely available over here and I have looked at it myself. Problem is, you have to refill the NOS all the time if you actually want to use it regually; the extra power/torque is only available when you turn the NOS on; insurance companys don't tend to like NOS; I'm running near to the torque limit of the gearbox now, NOS would definatly push me over, so I would have to use it very carefully.

A dry NOS system would set you back about £300, more with methonol injection aswell. Water injection would also be a good idear and a progressive contorller would be a must to protect the transmission from shock loading.

So u still haven't sorted out the transmision problem.
I remember the time u wanted to buy some kind of organic clutch....

The easiest way to do it, is to find transmision from a wrecked BMW 30D or 35D. Those babies handle 500-600 NM of tourqe.

While u at it, take the whole engine/gearbox from one. 280 Bhp,
I think u'd reach the limmit then.

Well I'm kicking out 522NM at last run but I get better fuel economy than a 3ltr BMW. They have twin turbos though and I wouldn't mine that in mine.

The clutch doesn't slip any more strangely so maybe it needed wearing in (even though it was a year old when it started to slip). I don't need more torque, I need to extend it up the rev range. NOS could definatly do this but I'm not keen on sticking it in, CO2 cooling however I am actively seeking.

I dont think you can extrend it without wrecking your engine.

Nutron what have you done to it till present day? U definatelly did not have 522 NM the last time I checked.
    I'll start:
    1. tuning box
    2.
    3.

The 888 remap doesn't reach the cars potential.

So the tunit tuning box overrides whatever 888 has done , right?
Cause I am confused with these 2 tweakings.

It's just a diesel tuning box like any other. The 888 remap falls far short of what can be achived from the 1.9CDTI and I am currently talking with people who might be able to give me the remap I want. Celtic tuning offer the most from a remap at the moment (Regal don't count because they don't know what they are doing).
