Intended as more of a "heads up" than advice

I have been trying to book a room at the onsite Premier Inn since before Christmas on and off until today.

Previously it wasn't possible to book the hotel for these dates and today it shows as "Sold Out" if you try to book Friday and Saturday nights.

However, I persevered, and tried to book for 3 nights from the Thursday and it accepted

So yes, it's not going to let me get the room at the saver rate if I want to change my booking at a later stage BUT I can change the booking up until 1pm on the Thursday and just stay Friday & Saturday instead and now I am close enough to the Vec-C crowd to attend the festivities and "stagger back to bed" afterwards

So .. something to consider for you guys, until Premier Inn "change the game plan" next
