Default "Roller Parcel Shelf" for Vectra C Hatch

I know this is a strange one but has anyone fitted a "Roller type parcel shelf" to a Vectra C Hatch. I now have a puppy & its gotta travel in the boot, the fitted ridged parcel shelf has to be taken out completely for the dog hence no secrity from prying eyes. I wondered if a roller type could be adapted to fit in its place.
On a different subject,my car is now running ok after alot of problems, limp home mode being the problem & service centre where it was taken couldn't find the fault, car was taken to another auto elecrtrician who plugged in his diagnostic machine & found the fault straight away(air flow sensor) i think. Turns out first garages software wasn't up to date. Lesson learned there.

My estate has a roller type cover... I dont know if that would fit, or not. It might fit with a little tampering. Go to your local dealers and have a look at the estate cover and see what you think. I am pretty sure there is not a specific one for the hatch..I stand to be corrected of course!

the signum has a rolller but again, not sure if it would fit the hatch, you would probably need to change the side panels in the rear to allow for the roller shelf holders

Could be easy enough to make your own I'd guess. Not a retracting roller but maybe using half a dozen wooden dowls cut the width of the parcel shelf. Somehow attach this (stitch maybe) to some kind of material, fix one end near the back seat & just pull across when you need it.
Bit of a bodge I know but........

I'll have a look at the estate & signum shelves but making one is an option.

I noticed you're from Norwich. Are there any boat yards around the Broads that could make you a cover from vinyl with press studs along the back and sides like the fly-bridge/cockpit covers they make for boats?
