Fuerteventura meet !!

Got back from my hols at 0420 this morning. Bit cold over here from the 34 deg C temps in the Canary Islands.
Anyhow, would you believe CYB and his wife Yvonne were in Fuerteventura at the same time? No! Well good job we took some pics to prove it then. Turns out CYB and Yvonne have been to the island many times and they offered to meet up one day and show Vanda & I some of the sights. Small problem was that we were on the most Southerly tip, and they were at the most Northerly tip, but anyhow where there's a will there's a way.

Seems Opel short on the ground in the car hire sector

CYB however made some appropriate mods (Wot CYB with a dirty car I hear you cry!)

We headed off towards the Americian Star wreck, CYB waiting for none of the locals

Then onto the the dirt track to the wreck, which resembled something like a Vectra-C.com "shortcut"

Time for some holiday snaps, must get the setup just right

and of course the old wreck

meantime Yvonne and Vanda were inspecting the local wildlife

Many thanks to CYB and Yvonne for taking time out to show Vanda & I some of the island, made the holiday a little different than usual.

nice pictures Trell and just who are you calling the 'old wreck'?

Not sure about that overtaking lane going up the hill the bends were a little on the sharp side and the megane dosen't have the same handling as the vectra.

We are not loking forward to coming home next week what's the weather like in Manchester?
