New alloys for my biturbo
New alloys for my biturbo
Very nice
Had to get a new tpms valve fitted
thats the second one since iv had my wheels re furbishd
I've had the Insignia almost 2 years now and even though I have had it remapped and changed the headunit, I didn't feel into changing the appearance.
I'm now at the point where I want to fit the vx-line wheels and vx-line kit, just trying to source it all locally.
I have made a start and purchased the Airtec intake and will be getting the Airtec intercooler once the hoses are in stock in the correct colour. I managed to get hold of a VXR front grill with the help of @happypostie.

Alternator failed so ordered a replacement from Autodoc, it lasted 3 days before failing again. The bearings collapsed so had to fit another new one. Got a genuine one this time. Pain as you have to remove the power steering pump to get access to the alternator on the 2.0t. All sorted now thou

After nearly 3 months and 5,000 miles of ownership of ‘Dilly’, my Sri 160, I decided it was time to try and tackle a couple of jobs myself after stupid quotes from garages. In the last couple of days I’ve managed to replace a broken abs sensor, refitted a missing turbo heat shield and replaced rear brake pads while also managing to refurb 2 sticking calliper pins and unseizing the drivers side electric handbrake. Basic stuff I know but having not done any diy car jobs for nearly a decade I’m quite pleased with myself right now and dilly feels better to drive than the day I drove her home
Also treated her to a mini valet 07B3284B-D398-47A2-8108-B090D63B4477.jpg
