Damn..why did you have to bust the printer AJA! LOL I cant wait to see these appear on the site so we can print them off....
the tuning boxes dont touch boost pressures duncan, its just a case of using the extra fuel diesels dump in by default. Air/fuel test would be useful though as although you can seriously damage your engine with bore wash from overfueling on petrols, im not clued up enough with diesels to know if it cans till happen.
I knew that the boxes didn't touch boost pressure (didn't make that clear) but it's still good to see what the car is doing with the turbo.
As you said, the AFR reading would be extremely useful, especially given the way that the boxes work (whacking more fuel in). You'd be able to see exactly what's going on and whether you should ease off the settings a bit to keep things 'safe' albeit at the loss of a bit of power.
It looks impresive to whack up the boxes to max, smoke everyone to death! LOL and get a nice high figure - but what is that actually doing inside the engine? The AFR reading would help there.
Just wondered if the Tunit guys read more data?
D
ooh that would be me then!Originally Posted by Duncan
blue is the bhp, red is the torque. the torque figures are on the right. the red line is very 'flat' at the top, which is typical of a torque curve. The blue is very 'peaky' which is typical of bhp
