    Default K&N 57i for 2.0T

Does anyone have any experience of living with the K&N cone on the 2.0T

I quite fancy one and was wondering if they sound overly offensive?

Don't think they will be too noisy as you wont have engine pulsing effects due to the turbo; just a constant woosh.

My friend has one on his Civic type R and it is the noisiest thing ever, but very addictive

-The part number if anyone is interested is 57-0636 and the fitting instructions can be found on the K&N site.

looking for a k&n panel filter for the 2.0t signum, already done the air-box mod and have noticed a big difference already. no real flat spot now and smoother acceleration

I tried 57i kit on my edition 100, noticed straight away after 20 mile or so the turbo was getting seriously hot and the recirculation valve pushes the unspent air out of the filter giving great noise must admit.
Down flaw is constant wooshing sound inside car non stop during accelaeration, pulled it out and fitted panel.

i had one on me edition 100, i personally think it sounded terrible, no real induction note and a really annoying whistling sound on hard acceleration, im now running a bmc sealed carbon fibre filter find it a lot better than the 57i

    Default Changing my mind!!!

Listening to you guys I think the best approach looks like the air box mod and a nice free flow panel filter.

is best mate. Or go sealed carbon like icetrix, find you den't really get any difference between panel or sealed kit's in this car. Which ever you want.
