Default Plastic window in cabriolet hood

Hi guys, my girlfriend has a smart fortwo cabriolet, and the plastic window in the hood has gone a bit cloudy, and has a couple of wear patches on it. Any reccomended products/techniques to sort this out? A quick look found a product called "hindsight" which promises miracle results with a £40 price tag, or "Renovo Plastic Window Polish" boasting the same result for £15. What do you reckon?

Either the Renovo Window Polish or Mothers Plastic Polish, both will do the job on a soft top window!
