swing in exterior mirrors

Does anyone know if this is a realistic do-at-home mod to install?

This was covered in another thread a little while back (couldn't find it with a quick search) but basically it's quite expensive (as it needs more parts than just the mirrors)and it's not 100% guaranteed as it may require extra looms that you won't about until you come to fit.

I'd love to have them as it's save me pulling my mirrors in manually when I parkthe car in the garage - but I'm not going to fork about £300 just to find that I can't get them to work!!

Yes Gary, we had a detailed thread going on VS about it but one was also started on here once we got going (just can't find it! LOL) Paul looked into the prices/feasibility and decided it was too much of a gamble s you may end up with a bunch of expensive parts and not be able to find out that it won't work until you've installed them all!
