Default 1.9 150 Simple power options

    Hi Vectra-C!

My first post here as I've recently just bought a 56 1.9 150 Sri. I've came from the 2014 Fiesta St. My reason for buying the Vec is just the price due to wanting to buy a house. I am looking to spend a little money on upgrading the power of it, I don't want to spend big money looking for over 200bhp+ but just shy of 200 would be nice. What's the simplest mod/mods to make on this car without breaking the bank?

Thanks for your advice and input in advance.

need picture or it doesn't exist!

Check all you bits out first to see if you have a solid lump? EGR swirl flaps etc before you look at extra beans

Thanks lads! (I'm assuming everyone is male here ha). I am currently going through the process of servicing it myself and then cam belt for peace of mind. Tyres and brakes are fine.

I'm new to Diesel engines and I've heard of the DPF delete, something I'd like to learn more about but I'm a little unsure as to what the EGR Swirl Flaps are..

I haven't had a chance for a good photo other than this which I'll add to follow next to my old car.

    Thanks for the help!

Yours rs won't have a dpf unless it's an auto?

egr is situated right hand rear corner of the engine block

the swirl flaps are inside the manifold but looking down between you should see the bar

the how2 section will be a great help

if your close to me feel free to give me a scout if need anything doing or Chevking
