Shocks maybe? Is there any noise from them? Push down on each corner, let go then they should rise then settle. If they bounce then there fooked. Have you any camber on them?

I've heard this to that the shocks are nackered. To be honest it can be hard to tell because like me i have had my car for a long time and you do get used to the handling even if the shocks slowly get worse rather than going over night. Best of luck

Thanks very much for the tips, the tyres are all the same and all have about 4mm left on them so will get the dealer to check the shocks. On that note do you guys use the dealers or a trusted mechanic.

Deffo look at the shocks as when Mrs d's mota was on goosed shocks it would try to swap ends even at fairly modest speeds !!!

That's a grey area, i use the stealers when i need a service or something i feel important but for smaller jobs i take it to the local garage in the village were i live, but funny thing is that even local places can charge the same amount as the stealers

My '53 plate 3.2 Vec feels the same sometimes.
I jumped out of a Vec B GSi and noticed a massive drop in handling, but put it down to the Vec C being designed as a motorway muncher. My local VX dealer also said that all was ok, but it turned out that one of my shox was shot. 2 new shox later and it's better, but I'm still not totally happy with it, so I'm gonna change the front shox for good measure and get the geometry checked by a lazer alignment specialist.
