I think he just preferred the life he made for himself in his head whilst in a Coma.

Even the missus noticed that. I'm slowly brainwashing her.

The wife was thinking it was going to end like the wizard of Oz, where everyone in his dream/head was in the room (i.e Nurses, Doctors, Family etc).

Saw that vectra (infact I recognised the seat fabric pattern before we even saw the rest of the car )

Then had to explain it to the missus for 5 minutes:

"I don't get it"
"Was he from the future or not?"
"So was the past real?"
"Why would he jump off that building?"
"So is he dead?"



And she's supposed to be cleverer than me!

It was a bizarre ending, but yes i think basically he prefered his life in his coma, if you notice the voices where back when they all got into the car at the end and he changed the radio station.

So basically he is still alive but in another coma, keeps open for a follow up series i suppose.

Top BBC Drama though.

Yep, that's what I thought, hope they do, really enjoyed the series.
Best bit for me was the Trumpton beginning the other week, absolute quality.
They'll need a new car if they do another series though, sold the Cortina on eBay for comic relief.
