Default FAO The Mud Flap Club

Just a suggestion & a word of warning. I removed mine over the weekend whilst having a mega cleaning session. They were jammed full of craap with grit rubbing against the paint work. They were actually heavy in weight considering how small they are.
Also whilst having the rear wheels off a heaped dust pan full off dirt came out of each arch. Over winter I have been blasting up in the arches to clear the wet crud out but had obviously been missing a lot of it so now it had dried out I was chipping away at it then brushing the last of it off.
Brake lines couldn't actually be seen they were that buried in dried out dirt. Must of been an inch or so thick in places.
Had to give it another wash afterwards mind as it got covered in dust

yep, when i had C's siggy colour coded, i was amazed at the mud traps..the biggest one being behind the sill finisher in the rear arch....about a fist full of wet mud chewing at the car each side....you can now eat your dinner off the wheelarches..steamed them right out..

I also noticed this when I fitted the Irmy Side skirts. Andyvec was absolutely appauled at the muck in there. I was suitably embarrassed.
