questionable insurance fee?

hi all, transferred my car today to a different car through flux direct.

I had 38 days left until renewal so i was expecting a very small admin charge, to find it was infact a £78 charge, quite ridiculous i thought as i was decreasing my cars spec and engine size by almost half.

So the person dealing with me said he would try and ring the broker back to see what he could do, rang back about 5 mins later reducing the cost by £35

what on earth would this charge of been? he said the admin charge was £25

and u say there is only over a month left on the policy....
i would be very diplomatic in letting them no there doing there best to get u to take ur business elsewere...
at the very most a policy transfer should be no more than £25....with urs being to short to run, imo they should have waved the fee..

technically i finished paying, you get the last 2 months free as you double up on deposit
