Falkirk Wheel 6th September....all welcome

Since we've not had a meet for aaaaages I thought i'd organise a little something to maybe try and kick start the EOS region.

As opposed to the usual standing about halfords looking like nerds meet I thought we could maybe head to the Falkirk Wheel to get a decent location for a change and those of you with family can bring them along to go on the wheel etc. The wheel would also make a good back drop for some photos.

I though of the 6th of September at say 1 o'clock?

Here are the location details

For Sat Nav enter FK1 4RS

From Edinburgh – take the M9 west for Stirling. Exit at Junction 8 of the motorway, and follow the brown and white tourist signage for The Falkirk Wheel.

From Glasgow – from the M80, then M876 and exit M876 at Junction 1. Follow signs for Falkirk and then the brown and white tourist signage for The Falkirk Wheel.

From the North – Follow the M9 south and take junction 9 (Stirling Services). At the large roundabout, take the fourth exit for The Falkirk Wheel and Denny (A872). Continue to follow the brown and white tourist signs.
