    Default Vectra stereo

I have a 07 1.8 exclusiv and have set the stereo to not automatically come on when i put the key in.The thing is when i want the stereo on i press the button but when i turn the engine off and take my key out the stereo still stays on.Is there any way off turning the stereo off when i remove the key? ie some menu setting prehaps?

Its because you have set it not to come on with the ignition. It thinks you want it on till you turn it off.....
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Don't know if it changed on the facelift or is different on the other stereo models - but on mine (CCR2006) I've set it so that it doesn't always turn on when the ignition is turned on, but if I turn it on once the ignition is on it will turn off when I remove the key. If the unit was on when I removed the key, then it will turn on when I turn ignition on. If the unit was off when I removed the key, then it will not turn on when I turn ignition on.

I wonder if it's just something that's changed with the facelift/stereo model?

The ign logic in the settings brought the stereo on when you turned the ignition on and turned off when the ignition was off.Perfect except i dont want it coming on every time i put the engine on.But i do want it to go off when the ignition is off. ie i want to be able to turn it on manually but off automatically when the key is removed.

Mine does - as per above post. Is that because it's a different unit?
