Default Last bit of colour coding - front lip (pics)

Had always uuhmed and aahed about getting a front splitter - but never bothered as I couldn't see the point. With being lowered it would get cracked/ripped off on ramps/multi-storeys etc. - as it is the lip scrapes and that flexes a bit.

So I went for the next best option to get rid of that black lip - get it painted. Thanks to Mark (GSi3.2) for sorting it out with his friendly painter. Looks soooo much better and glad to get rid of the last bit of black that detracted from everything else.

Haven't yet scraped it on any ramps, but hopefully the paint will stay on it for a good length of time - it had a good amount of plasticiser put in to allow it to flex.

Before (after I'd colour coded the fog surrounds).

    Thumbs up Cool

Looks really good mate. I know what you mean about the black bits, a right pain, especially if you accidentally get polish on them. I'm in the running for replacing the front lip spoiler and rear insert but looking at your pics a bit of colour coding might be a decent option.

Looks great duncan. Soulie take a close look at post #2 if you want to see a silver car with the lip painted.
