    Default ANNOYED...That's an understatement

Making my way home at 3am last night, rural road, doing 60mph. Without any warning, directly in front of me, three kamikaze badgers, in line abreast, run straight into the road. I had absolutely nowhere to go. In the split second I had (knowing that they can trash the car) I swerved as near to the kerb as possible and aimed to put my offside wheels over the first ones head. I didn't want a broadside hit smack into the front of the car.

Upshot is I've cracked the offside of the front bumper, but it's not something you'd notice. However, the offside spotlamp mounting is broken and the lamp is now not attached to anything. Also, having never looked underneath the car. I'm not sure if I'm missing an undertray. (I can see right up into the engine bay)

Can anyone recommend a good place for a replacement spotlamp assembly (and undertray if needed) and how much am I looking at.??

I'll post some pics when I've woken up fully. Any help greatly appreciated.

Ouch... thats a bit of a sh*tter mate..... I can't count the amount of times i've nearly done the same on half nights coming down Hindlip Lane. Workshops might be able to help out?!?! Otherwise if you need a hand with it give me a shout!!!

p.s - did the Badger make it, or did you go back and give him some "advice" with your PR24.

If nothing else, he'll have a big headache. And I bet his mates sh@t themselves.
Once I've rubbed the sleep out of my eyes I'm gonna take a closer look. One of our Vecs was crashed last week, but not sure where it's gone yet. It was front end and ended up on its side, so the spot may not have survived.

Sorry to hear that m8. Sounds like your training helped to avoid a really nasty smack there! I think I'd c**p myself if I was faced with with three badgers in the road!!

I'm sure someone was selling a bumper/fogs onhere (have a shufty in the Parts for sale section). If not, Andyvec could probably sort you out.

As you can see (I hope) the two bottom brackets are sheared off and the light smashed. The top of the spot is held on by something. It's so difficult to get at and I can't tell if it's a nut, screw or just a popper. Any of you guys who have had the bumper off got any idea.!!

Doesn`t look to serious mate, and the hair on the wheel must have put a wry smile on your face, I reckon it will easily repair, I have had my bumper off, the only screws are the ones on the inner wheelarch, all the rest are poppet type things . I don`t recognise the bits in the pohotos but maybe mine is different with the splitter on ?

Took those lying on my back looking up at the spot. The spot is being pulled backwards slightly. The two arrowed points should be connected.

There is another broken mounting to the right and the bottom arrows is where the bumper is split

Well, thought what the hell and took the bumper off. (Thanks to the 'How to' guide).

I've got the destroyed spot out. Glued the split and my finger to the bumper!!

Just gotta put it back on now. If I was sensible, I'd have waited till I got a replacement spot.......but these things really bug you don't they!!
