Fault p0409 Limp mode egr related

So after my scv replacement the cars been running fine ...for a week or so,now it's decided to pop up the 0409 egr circuit A fault,it seems to be accompanied with a loss of coolant and a higher idle at 1000 rpm sometimes.also my engine is quite whisley lately and really howls around 3500 rpm.i did remove the egr cooler when I swapped the scv ,would a split pipe cause the fault code? Thanks
