Bought this for my brother....Corsa-D CDTI

Hey folks,

Just thought id show you this...bought this for my brother last week. 1.3 CDTI, lower miles than any other one we had seen within the price bracket, 2008. Tidy car.

Seems good on MPG, got a bit of poke too.

No doubt he will start the mods soon.

Pic shows the car on the p155er slightly as its having a tyre changed.

I got my missus a Corsa D Sri with the 1.4 engine and like you I thought great car but gutless.....we now have a corsa vxr

The CDTI seems nippy enough. But I had a 1.2 courtesy car today and that car would not move, for love nor money!!

Sounds about right. The 1.3CDTI is nippy enough, my cousin's husband has the same engine in his Fiat500L, and from the passenger seat it seemed pretty capable with a decent turn of speed, no rocket ship but quicker than my old Astra Mk3 1.4.

And it has a chain-cam, no belt to worry about. I did hear about a chain problem in that model a few years back, but that seems to have been sorted.

Anything's better than the old 3-cylinder 1.0 LOL

see wee engined cars, there 100% if ur simply doing the school run and knocking about the town for a bit of shopping...
also, if i was simply pottering about the house retired, sure u dont like going fast anyway, so no point in a decent 2.0 or above..
