    Default Added Spoiler

Well considering this was my first attempt at any kind of bodywork it went ok.

I put masking tape on the and spoiler and the boot and then drew a line through both pieces of tape to indicate dead centre.

Then came the traumatic bit. The bonding container split and the bond came out all ways except for the nozzle. Ended up applying it by hand which was rubbish and I'll be cleaning my hands for the next month.

Anyway with a new set of gloves on and with the bond rapidly drying I shoved the spoiler onto the boot and it lined up perfectly.

I held it in place for a bit before sticking some masking tape on.

Then it was a five hour wait. So I got out the meguires 3 stage and did the whole car. Boy is it Shiney.

    Before.

    Colour Match is spot on.

    The car now.

    Relection shot

Now I can see where the rear of the car actualy is.

Neighbours Vec B reflected into the missus Coupe and then into my car.
    Meguires is good stuff!

So that's me final mod. No map because of the brakes and springs.

However everything else has been done.

Thanks to Andyvec for sourcing the spoiler.

    Looks really smart matey.

It looks a slightly different shade in those pics, is it spot on in the flesh dude? It's the same with my bumpers in any pic that I take.

It's identical Alex. The guy that did it took my paint code.

Problem with Misty grey is that it looks a different shade depending upon the angle of the body work.

    This is a better picture.

    Thanks for the comments fellas.

Would love to do more with the car but now it would start getting seriously expensive.

Funny thing is the missus really likes the way the car looks now and said last night, "What's next?"

The remap was next on the list but I had not thought about brakes and suspension which need to come first. Doorpins to Spoiler to Brakes is a steep learning curve!

Looking the pictures though it could do with lowering...
