if you had a car to clone all you need is one with the same spec and colour and the reg number and you've got yourself a clone

Trouble is as soon as drive on the roads all the work of hiding your plate is undone!
So don't drive you car on the roads!
Why make it easy for people. If somebody wants the number of a specific car/colour/spec it is more difficult out on the road than on a forum full of them!
If you take pics at a meeting you should always blank out the plates of other members even if you don't do your own. SEE THE RULES!!!!! RULE 9.
As above, for instance if you were wanting the reg of a silver vectra VXR the chances of meeting one on the road is pretty slim, but if plates weren`t blanked it would be a 30 second job getting it off the forum ...
I agree with all that has been said - blanking out reg plates is plain common sense - better to be safe than sorry! You never know who's 'guesting' on the forums
Yep,all true but i had a car cloned, even though it spent 90 percent of its life in my garage and when they cloned it they didn't even bother to match the type of car.
Yep, it's just common courtesy if you have pics of other members cars in shots. Obviously if you're not bothered about showing your plates on any pics of just your car, that's entirely up to you - you can leave them unblanked if you wish.
D
Thats what I told the coppa, who pulled me over the other day with my new blank number plates... "I'm preventing cloning officer...."
