What it says on the tin - drove with windows down yesterday for firat time since buying car and can hear a grating / rubbing noise from front end. Does not seem to be linked to bumps / braking / engine speed.
Any suggestions to check?

Brakes. maybe a stone caught, or low pads. You think they could possibly need changing?
ive got the same.only does it when the brakes have been used a few times
trouble is that the noise isn't linked to braking (pads should be OK - only 17000 on clock). Might have to go in next week I think
