Ok great thanks bud ill have a look now. I did plan on an induction but was told by someone on the forum that this engine works better with a modded airbox. And a dump valve doesn't help power either, gutted about that cuz ever since I first heard one as a little boy I've always wanted a dump valve on the first petrol turbo car I had lol

Wow caveman just skimmed thru your post you mentioned. I'll have to come up sometime to check out your signum some good ideas on there that I will be trying out. I have the benefit of not needing to drive my signum so I'm going to mod it a fair bit before its actually on the road. Planning on the fmic, 3" exhaust system, turbo upgrade, air box mod, maptun map, facelift it, new rear bumper, and breaks upgrade and recon, before I even tax it and put it out there. But ill be bringing it to the next available meet as soon as it's on the road

I used to have a cheap induction on mine but encased very well and with piping which luckily linked up well with the air pipes going to the front of my car, I have a spare which I want to fit to my current car but i need to find it first ( I got a spare because it came damaged and they sent another, I just glued it back together lol)

Yeah, either or, whatever floats your boat, just remember to actually clean them or you may as well stick with the GM filter.

Do you think it made any difference when gunning it down a quite motorway etc,? With my current derv I am actually trying to make it quieter as well as more powerful as i hate sound of it.

Under heavy acceleration it growls from the intake, cruising it sounds like any other diesel mate, it's not loud though
